Charles H. Fullerton, 36, died from smoke inhalation shortly after he helped to extinguish a fire at the King's Fabric Company at 716 King Street. He felt faint and tumbled to the sidewalk. Having been examined by a fire bureau physician just two months prior and being proclaimed in good health, an autopsy revealed he died from inhalation of smoke. He was survived by his wife Concetta.
