She served as "President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Delaware Volunteer Firemen's Association" (LADVFA) for 4 different terms, the only lady in the history of the LADVFA to do so.
She served as the 1st President from 1937-1938, 4th President from 1940-1941, 9th President from 1945-1946, and the 12th President from 1948-1949.
