She served as their president for 5 years and vice-president for one year. She also served as president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the New Castle County Volunteer Firemen's Association.
She later served as the 15th President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Delaware Volunteer Firemen's Association from 1951-1952.
