Eva joined the Harrington Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary on April 14, 1947. She served as their President, Vice-President and Recording Secretary during her years a member of her auxiliary.
She served as the 22nd President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Delaware Volunteer Firemen's Association from 1958-1959.
