On Sunday March 8, 2009 the DVFA Executive Committee meeting took place at the fire school in Dover. During the meeting Senator Tom Carper was presented with a fire helmet to recognize his appointmnet as one of the co-chairs of the Congressional Fire Service Caucas the largest caucas in Washington DC. Also during the meeting Brian Burge the father of Emily Burge informed the membership of a foundation he is putting together to assist familes of fire, EMS, and Military memebrs killed in the line of duty. In addition Joanne Hutchinson discussed the progress of the Delaware Burn Camp.
