** Winery trip – bus will depart from Rehoboth Convention Center at 3:15pm and pick up additional
passengers at the Dewey Hyatt at 3:30pm. Second bus will pick up at the Dewey Hyatt only at 3:30pm **
Times may get pushed back 15 minutes depending on the LADVFA Meeting.
Parking
• Parking meters are still active until midnight on September 15th
. Please make sure you are paying
for parking if you are in one of those spots, so you don’t get a ticket.
• PP Tom DiCristofaro has talked with Rehoboth PD about the Rehoboth Convention Center parking
lot and nearby street parking & DVFA/LADVFA participants should not be ticketed; however, they
cautioned that parking further away may result in a parking ticket.
• Please also caution people to NOT back into a parking spot in the Rehoboth Convention Center –
YOU WILL GET A TICKET!
• If you are staying at the Rehoboth hotels we encourage you to leave your vehicles in the hotel
parking lots.
• For those participating in Opening Ceremonies, and don’t want to pay for parking, there is a Park
and Ride located off Route 1 at 20055 Shuttle Rd.
• The Rusty Rudder will have their gate open allowing us to park in their parking lot without penalty.
• PP Tom D. stated both sides of Dickinson and Van Dyke Streets will be blocked off by Dewey PD
for the conference.
• Parking in the Hyatt parking garage is for hotel guests only.
Food Options in Dewey
• Rusty Rudder - Will be open on Monday and Tuesday at 11:00 am for lunch, closed on
Wednesday - They have live entertainment on Monday and Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm
• Lighthouse - Will be open on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 11:00 am
• Starboard – Open every day at 8:000 am for breakfast and serving lunch and dinner until
1am, closed on Tuesday.
• Woody’s – Open every day for lunch at 11:00am, closed on Tuesday.
• Dewey Beach Country Club – Open every day at 11:00am for lunch, closed on Wednesday.
• Nalu – open for dinner at 4:00pm
• There are other options for breakfast and lunch in Dewey, please call ahead or check their
Facebook pages for specials and their hours.
Food Information for Rehoboth
• Sunny Bay Café – I have been told they will be closed on Monday and Tuesday
• Summer House – Open every day at 11:00am for lunch

their Facebook pages for specials and their hours.
There are some restaurants that will be closed on Tuesday, September 15th for their employee end of
summer appreciation event. The ones that we are aware of are listed above. Please check hours for
places before you plan to go there for meals.
