On Saturday February 29, 2009 several officers of the DVFA attended the annual Kent County Volunteer Firemen's Association Ladies Night held at the Felton Fire Station. This event is hosted to honor the ladies of the firemen who serve Kent County. Two awards are presented at the event. The Kent County Ladies Aux, Lady of the Year and the Kent County Firemen of the Year. This years winners were Gloria Sattman of the Hartly Ladies Aux and Joe Zeroles of the Farmington Fire Company. Congrats to both.
