She was married to Frank C. O'Neal who served as the 19th President of the Delaware Volunteer Firemen's Association in 1944.

She was elected and served as the "2nd President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Delaware Volunteer Firemen's Association" (LADVFA) from 1938-1939.
